The Rotary Club of Grenada is the first of two Rotary clubs in Grenada.

Chartered on 23 August 1968, it started with twenty-two members led by a then eminent Dentist, Dr. John Watts (Now Past District Governor Sir John Watts). The Rotary Club of Grenada has since sponsored the Rotary Club of Grenada East, the Rotary Club of St. Vincent and the Rotaract Club of Grenada.

Over its forty-three years of existence, the Rotary Club of Grenada has undertaken sterling work in the community, demonstrating service above self as it lived out the mantra of Rotary International: improving the quality of life in the community. The Club has been recognized nationally, regionally and internationally for its work. Some of its major projects include:

·         Island-wide polio vaccination program, effectively eradicating Polio from Grenada

·         Building of the Grenada School for Special Education

·         Acquisition of title for lands at Quarantine Point and developing a public park

·         Construction of homes following Hurricane Ivan
